Insurance License Preparation of Alaska (ILP) opened in 1999. Since then, we have been helping folks prepare for the state insurance exams like no other company or organization in Alaska. ILP provides insurance license preparation classes for Property & Casualty, Life and Health, Surplus Lines, Credit Life, Bail Bonds, Alaska Adjuster and Managing General Agent along with the Alaska State Codes required for each. These classes were designed to assist Alaska agencies and financial institutions in licensing their personnel, and for individuals wanting to enter the insurance business. The classes include classroom instruction, books, materials, sample test questions via the internet and the ILP Alaska Code Book. There is no other Code Book in print that is as easy to read and understand as the ILP Code Book.

Surplus Lines licensing classes were introduced in March 2007. We introduced the Bail Bonds class In January 2008 and the Alaska Adjuster license preparation class in April 2008. We just added a study guide for the Managing General Agent license in October 2009. ILP of Alaska is THE place to go if you are looking to get help in passing an Alaska Insurance Exam.

The ALASKA ADJUSTER LICENSE class is here!  We are offering 10 hours of instruction with an instructor who has 31 years of experience in the insurance industry, a NEW study guide and much more!  Call today for more information.  You don't have to try to pass the Alaska Adjuster's exam by yourself anymore.  Help has arrived!

The BAIL BOND LIMITED LICENSE study guide is awesome!  Please call if you are interested and we will get a date and time set up to offer a pesonalized class if there are four or more students! This is the first Bail Bond license help to be offered in the state of Alaska! You may purchase the Alaska Bail Bond Limited License Study Guide if you wish to study for the exam on your own.  There is no other material on the market that even compares.  I have studied the statutes and wrote the Study Guide myself.  See for yourself how easy it is to study for the Bail Bond exam with this material! Just call me for more information.  907-244-7391

After taking the Bail Bond course, this is what Antonina Basargin had this to say about the Bail Bond Exam, "Piece of Cake!"

We have been told that the classes are worth taking just for the Alaska State Code material! The code material is the finest available for ANY Alaska Insurance Exam!

Testimonials from some of our participants!

"Thank you, so much, Margaret. You are such an excellent teacher. When I complete a course of study with you, I really feel like I have a solid grasp of the subject."

Estelle Tokash, Alaska Insurance Adjuster

"Margaret, your class on Life/Health was a great help in passing my exams!  I passed all on the first try and in large part due to your excellent class!  You have a unique ability to boil down all of the insurance jargon to what I'll call "Margaret Speak" which puts a paragraph of technical language into a couple of understandable sentences.  It really helps in understanding the concepts.  Thanks for a great class!"

Dean Maxwell, State Farm

The Insurance Institute of Amercia awarded Margaret with the "Outstanding Course Leader" designation on March 20, 2009. The pass ratios for her students met or exceeded the national average for three recent classes she taught for the Institute. Margaret's students historically pass at a higher rate than the national average.

"Margaret Varlamos kept us laughing for 45 minutes while explaining the in's and out's of risk management. The odd part is that I don't think she told a single joke. She was all business in explaining the program, but her speaking style is fantasic."

Ben Milam, C.P.M

"I passed all parts last night and have you to thank for the good results.  Your class made the difference as I'm sure I would not have passed without it!"

Jack Good, Parker, Smith & Feek

"The test went very well. I flew through it and passed with flying colors. You guys had it dialed right in. I would recommend your class to anyone who asks."

John Kohler, Jr. Rural Alaska Insurance Agency

"ILP was a great source for me to use in the license exam preparation, both P & C and Life & Health. Not having an insurance backround the classes allowed me to study in a very short period of time, take the test, and move on to the career field."

Mitch Jones

Come see for yourself!  You may retake any class within 12 months of your first class at no cost if you don't pass the exam the first time. You may retake the same class as many times as necessary in a 12 month period. Our no-fail promise to you! Margaret
